Concert / Workshop Day

We are already in the planning stages for our annual January concert at Troy-Hayner Cultural Center.  The good folks at Hayner have been our partners in this event for many years, and with their help, we create entertainment, learning, fellowship and fun in the coldest part of the year.  The concert and the classes that are presented on the following day have a story that began  in 2023.

We were excited to invite Mandy Tyner here – she’s quite well-known online as a performer and teacher of mountain dulcimer and other instruments.  We heard from lots of folks in our area that were familiar with Mandy and her down-to-Earth teaching methods, and were chomping at the bit to learn from her face-to-face.  But Mandy contracted an illness that prevented her from traveling all the way from Georgia to Ohio.

We were lucky that Lorinda Jones stepped in, and did a wonderful job on the concert and workshops.  Bless her heart….

And now here we are, getting ready to do it again, and inviting Mandy Tyner again.

Mandy Tyner will instruct:

 – 9am – 11 am

 – 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

 – 3pm – 5pm 

Workshop titles to be determined at a later date.
