Calendar of Events

The Mountain Dulcimer Society of Dayton meets at West Charleston Church of the Brethren on State Route 202, near Tipp City, OH.  We are also hosting beginner classes (but please contact us in advance to be sure). 

Beginners: 5-6 pm   

Main Jam and meeting: 6-8 pm 

MDSD meetings: The first Saturday of each Month  (except for the August picnic)

Directions from South –

Turn North on Adams Street from Main Street (by Kettering Hospital).

Cross Adams Street Bridge. Turn left into park (across from Hobart Arena)

Directions from North: 

Exit I-75 at exit number 78 Head South in 25a. Turn left on Eldeen Road.

Cross river on Eldeen Rd and turn right on Piqua Troy Rd. Turn Right on Troy-Sidney Road

(it’s an odd intersection).  You will go under railroad bridge.  Turn right into parking lot (across from cemetery).

You may take car back beside the shelter to unload food and instruments, etc., then return car to parking lot.

When you enter the park, the large brick shelterhouse is our destination.  The first thing you see when you go in the gate.  

We’ve invited lots of folks from other dulcimer clubs in the region.  Let’s have a great time!
